AMERICAN THEATRE | Sarah Slight Named Raven Theatre’s Interim Inventive Director 

CHICAGO: Raven Theatre has named Sarah Slight to be their interim creative director because the theatre searches for a alternative for creative director Cody Estle, who introduced his departure final month.  

“I’m thrilled to serve Raven Theatre as interim creative director,” stated Slight in a press release. “Thanks to Cody Estle for all he has performed for Raven over the past decade. I’m really honored the board of administrators have put their belief in me to proceed the theatre’s nice work whereas they give the impression of being towards the long run.” 

“We’re more than happy that Sarah is on the market and prepared to step in as our interim creative director,” stated Raven board president Stephen Johnson in a press release. “She brings strong theatrical expertise to the position. Her presence will guarantee persevering with high-quality productions for our patrons and a supportive setting for the artists whose work is crucial to those productions.” 

Slight is a Chicago-based dramaturg, literary supervisor, and producer. Previous to working with Raven Theatre, she served because the affiliate creative director at American Theater Firm, creative applications supervisor at Northlight Theatre, literary affiliate at Williamstown Theatre Pageant, and literary supervisor at Crimson Eye Theatre.
