Inexperienced Day verify work on new album


Inexperienced Day have confirmed that they’ve been recording a brand new studio album this 12 months.

The Billie Joe Armstrong-led trio, who launched their thirteenth and newest file ‘Father Of All Motherfuckers’ in 2020, lately shared a video on TikTok that paperwork their time on the street in 2022.

Within the clip, we see behind-the-scenes footage of the band in addition to some stay efficiency pictures. “WTF WHAT a 12 months,” Inexperienced Day wrote within the caption.

Armstrong and co. went on to disclose that they’d been “recording our [new] file in London & LA” in between the long-awaited UK and European leg of their Hella Mega Tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer, and their many different dates elsewhere.

Inexperienced Day didn’t provide any additional details about their upcoming 14th album.

Again in January, the group previewed a snippet of latest music in a short video on social media. At one level within the add, the 12 months “1972” was scrawled onto a studio wall – referring to when every band member was born.

It got here shortly after Inexperienced Day posted a brief clip of them recording materials at RAK Studios in London.

In a four-star assessment of ‘Father Of All Motherfuckers’, NME wrote: “[Green Day] eschew the politics and have outdated knees-up on their raucous thirteenth album”, including: “‘Father Of All’ is a unicorn puking a rainbow. Don’t attempt to make sense of it. Simply get pleasure from.”

In the meantime, Inexperienced Day are set to launch a twenty fifth anniversary reissue of their fifth album ‘Nimrod’ on January 27. The trio have already previewed the gathering with an unearthed demo from that period, ‘You Irritate Me’.
