SoundCloud’s creator companies platform is working beneath a brand new title: SoundCloud for Artists.
The rebrand comes from one of many main minds in establishing Spotify’s personal Spotify for Artists platform. And because the saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, do not repair it.”
Tracy Chan, SoundCloud’s Senior Vice President of Creator, was beforehand the former Head of Music at Twitch and served because the Director of Product Administration at Spotify earlier than that. Chan led the event of Spotify for Artists’ analytics platform, which empowers artists to glean insights about their fanbase and higher interact their viewers.
Chan describes the mission of SoundCloud for Artists in related phrases, calling it “an elevated, all-in-one platform for artists to attach with followers and speed up their careers.”

SoundCloud’s efforts on this space started with the acquisition of a third celebration analytics, distribution and promotional software known as Repost in 2019, Music Enterprise Worldwide stories. At the moment, that division is being rebranded beneath the SoundCloud for Artists umbrella, the place artists can proceed to train full management over the monetization and distribution of their music whereas evaluating efficiency metrics all from place.
Artists can view the newly launched dashboards at this time, the place the corporate says it has already migrated artists’ prior releases.
