Summer season Performing and Puppetry Workshops – Dream Story Puppets


Jacek Zuzanski, Falmouth Artwork Middle, Mansfield, Mattapoisett, Mid-Cape, Middleborough, and Carver Public Libraries invite kids ages 9 and older to the Summer season Performing and Puppetry Workshops. Six teams of contributors from six cities will be taught the ins and outs of puppet constructing and efficiency and can work collaboratively to develop and stage a puppet play. For every group, the workshop will happen throughout six hour-long periods (digital and in-person), and can culminate in a last filmed efficiency.

After receiving an exercise equipment with fundamental supplies, a brief description of the play, and a top level view of the scene the group will likely be staging, contributors will construct a tabletop puppet character for the play tailored from a narrative a few fisherman and magic fish!

In the course of the first periods (by way of Zoom), contributors will obtain directions on constructing their puppets. Extra directions will likely be accessible on this weblog in order that contributors will be capable of proceed constructing between scheduled conferences. MATERIALS PROVIDED IN THE ACTIVITY KIT
