The Wombats launch new single ‘I Assume My Thoughts Has Made Its Thoughts Up’


The Wombats have launched one other style of their forthcoming EP ‘Is This What It Feels Like To Really feel Like This?’ by the use of a brand new single ‘I Assume My Thoughts Has Made Its Thoughts Up’.

Breaking open with a thrashing guitar melody, ‘I Assume My Thoughts Has Made Its Thoughts Up’ boasts some ethereal but pensive vocal runs, with The Womabts’ frontman Matthew ‘Murph’ Murphy saying of the music in a press launch: “It’s a glitchy ode to the ’90s, innocence and escapism.”

Their forthcoming EP ‘Is This What It Feels Like To Really feel Like This?’ – the follow-up to January’s ‘Repair Your self, Not The World’ – is due for launch on November 18.

Saying the discharge again in August, the band shared its title observe alongside a breezy visualiser.

Preceded by singles ‘Methodology To The Insanity’, ‘If You Ever Go away, I’m Coming With You’, ‘Prepared For The Excessive’ and ‘All the things I Love Is Going To Die’, The Wombats’ fifth studio providing landed again in January.

A four-star assessment noticed NME‘s Mark Beaumont comment: “Anybody stunned on the trio’s continued success clearly hasn’t been listening. Pop ambition, indie beliefs and sonic experimentation: it’s all right here.”

With that launch, The Wombats then scored their first UK Quantity One album.
