Looking Bach: Vache Baroque Festival celebrates Bach's 'Well Tempered Clavier'

The Vache Baroque Pageant (VBF) is celebrating 300 years since Bach’s Effectively Tempered Clavier (Guide 1) and the Anna Magdalena Pocket book with Trying Bach, at gala live performance at Conway Corridor on 19 November 2022. Performers embody pianist Libby Burgess, harpsichordist and melodica participant David Gordon, the David Gordon jazz trio, sound artist Dan Samsa, and a consort of Vache Baroque singers and gamers. 

On the gala, younger individuals can be performing side-by-side with main professionals and VBF is proud to be showcasing at this occasion their Youngsters’s Choir and pianists from their masterclass weekend. the Youngsters’s Choir builds on the success of the inaugural choir course in 2021, youngsters aged 8 – 15 resident in Buckinghamshire will take pleasure in 5 days of workshops and rehearsals led by Suzzie Vango, Shivani Rattan, and Jonathan Darbourne. And for the Piano Masterclass Weekend, pianists aged 15 – 18 will participate in a masterclass residency weekend at The Vache exploring the music of J. S. Bach’s The Effectively-Tempered Clavier and Notebooks for Anna Magdalena led by pianist Libby Burgess)

Doorways open at 7.30pm with the efficiency at 8.15pm, and friends are inspired to reach early to discover VBF’s sound and artwork installations, in addition to food and drinks on provide!
